Cronk Art & Curiosties
Cronk Art & Curiosities began as a shared dream between Andrew Cronk and Chris Dantzler—a dream to create a space that celebrates the unconventional and provides a safe, welcoming environment for the queer community and beyond. The idea took root in 2021, when they decided to combine Andrew’s passion for art and nature with their shared desire to offer something truly unique to Colorado Springs. In just 20 days, they transformed their first location into a vibrant haven for the curious, the quirky, and the creative. From framed insects to handcrafted artwork, their shop quickly became a beloved destination for those seeking items that spark conversation and curiosity. But more than the items themselves, Cronk Art & Curiosities became a place where everyone—especially the queer and creative community—could feel seen, valued, and inspired. As the business grew, so did its mission. In early 2023, Andrew and Chris moved the store to a larger, central location, allowing them to expand their offerings and deepen their connection to the community. Today, the store hosts workshops, features local artists, and organizes the monthly "Moon Market," a craft fair that showcases incredible talent and fosters connection. At its core, Cronk Art & Curiosities is about more than art or curiosities—it’s about creating a space where everyone can celebrate their individuality, embrace their weirdness, and let curiosity guide the way.
